Nepalese Company Plans To Open SPA In Malaysia

KATHMANDU, Jan 2 (Bernama) -- Nepalese company Tranquility SPA (TS) is set to open an outlet in Marriott Hotel in Malaysia's Putrajaya in collaboration with a Malaysian company.

TS said in a statement it had signed an agreement with Industrial Oxygen Incorporated (IOI) Group, which owns Marriott Hotel in Malaysia, to provide world-class spa services to Malaysians and foreign tourists. "We will be starting our service at Marriott Hotel by March and we plan to bring 12 therapists to work at the spa," said the statement.

Suresh Puri, executive director of Tranquility Spa, said services offered at the spa include body scrub, massage, sauna and yoga. TS opened its doors in Nepal more than seven years ago and has been operating the Tranquility International Beauty & Spa Academy (TIBSA) over the last five years.

"We are planning to open a TIBSA in Malaysia within a year and more spa outlets in the country in future," said Puri. TS currently has 12 outlets in Nepal and plans to open new spas in Japan and Dubai.
